COSC 472 - Numerical Algebra
Direct and iterative methods for systems of linear equations. Solution of a single nonlinear equation and nonlinear systems. Orthogonal decomposition, least squares, and the algebraic eigenvalue problem. (See Mathematics 472.) (RE) Prerequisite(s): 231; 200 or 251 or 257. (DE) Prerequisite(s): 371. Comment(s): Knowledge of high-level programming language required.
