IE 531 - Systems Thinking and Modeling
Introduces students to a systems thinking approach to problem-solving. It provides students with the key concepts of systems thinking and theory. The students learn the importance of the identification of the elements of a system, their interconnectivity, stocks, feedback and balancing loops. Students also learn to model through an introduction to systems dynamics using causal loop diagrams, stock and flow diagrams, and simulation.
