| This transfer equivalency guide shows how courses transfer to UT from other colleges and universities. Please note that equivalencies are subject to change as course content and offerings are revised at the University. Your course evaluations are based on the equivalencies in effect when your official transcript is evaluated. (For new students, this occurs after you are admitted to the University. For returning UT students, your transcripts are evaluated upon receipt). Please review UT's complete Transfer Credit Policy in the Undergraduate Catalog for further information. NOTE: If an institution or course does not appear on the list, then an official equivalency has not yet been determined. Transfer institutions and courses will be added to the list as official equivalencies are determined. PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE TRANSFER COURSE PREFIX, NUMBER, AND TITLE AND MAKE SURE IT MATCHES THE COURSE YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY TAKEN OR PLAN TO TAKE. (For example, BIO is different from BIOL: ENG versus ENGL; MTH versus MATH) Current Undergraduate Students Current undergraduate students planning to take courses at another institution and want credit for these courses at UT may complete the Course Equivalency Form--one form request per student. Please review the Course Equivalency Tables to see how courses transfer to UT from other colleges and universities before submitting a course equivalency form request. Do not fill out the form if the transfer course is already on the equivalency table. |
